About Gion Suetomo
Located along Yasaka Street, home to numerous renowned ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurants), Gion Suetomo sits just in front of the main gate of Kenninji Temple.
Upon entering, you will find a tatami-lined counter seating area, as well as a private eight-mat tatami room at the back, resembling a secluded retreat. The second floor features a room with a breathtaking view of Kenninji Temple’s main gate.
Designed in the Sukiya-zukuri architectural style, our space offers a tranquil escape from daily life, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the depth of Japanese culture.
